Megan Schalkwyk is a professionally registered chemical engineer with over 18 years’ experience in the water sector. Megan coordinates all of the water reuse initiatives undertaken by the uMngeni-uThukela Water Board. 

Megan is a member of the Independent Advisory Panel for the City of Cape Town’s New Faure Project and leads the Kwazulu-Natal Chapter of the Water Institute of South Africa’s Water Reuse Division.

Megan currently sits on the Board of the Water Research Commission.
